I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999.

Since then, I’ve had a successful business career and continue to enjoy my work. Because I’ve always had a love for art and design, many of the elective classes that I took while pursuing my engineering degree were design related.

With this background and with the help of Duquesne’s Small Business Development Center, Arte di Strazza Designs was founded by me, Maura Strazza, in 2005.

Arte di Strazza Designs has evolved since then from solely a design company to a combined Fine Art Photography provider and design company. My love for photography began while working on product photography for my clients’ websites.

I guess you could say I picked up the camera and haven’t put it down since! I shoot with Pentax D-SLR’s – the ist DL and K10D models. I have many lenses in my arsenal to use, depending on the situation.
